1. Introduction
Welcome to Comparisun Cyprus. These Terms govern your access to our solar comparison platform at comparisun.cy.
1.1 About Our Service
Comparisun Cyprus connects consumers with certified solar installers across the Republic of Cyprus. We provide:
- Solar energy potential calculations (Cyprus average: 1,700-1,800 kWh/kWp/year)
- Personalised quotes from vetted installers
- Information about net metering and RES Fund subsidies
1.2 Regulatory Context
- CERA (Cyprus Energy Regulatory Authority) regulations
- EAC (Electricity Authority of Cyprus) net metering scheme
- RES Fund subsidies: A1 General EUR 375/kW, A2 Vulnerable EUR 1,250/kW, A3 EUR 250/kW
- System Size Limits: Single phase max 5 kWp, Three phase max 10 kWp
- Net Metering until December 2025, then Net Billing from 2026
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old. The property must be located in the Republic of Cyprus.
3. Estimates
All estimates are based on:
- Cyprus solar irradiance (1,700-1,800 kWh/kWp/year - among highest in Europe)
- Current EAC tariffs (EUR 0.32/kWh) and export rates (EUR 0.105/kWh)
- Standard calculation methodologies
These estimates are not guarantees.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Cyprus law, our liability is limited to EUR 100 or amounts paid in the preceding 12 months.
Nothing excludes liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
5. Governing Law
